The KE100 has a built-in temperature sensor, but you can also add a Tapo temperature sensor to it for temperature correction. A separate temperature sensor can be placed anywhere in the room to measure the ambient temperature, and Kasa Smart Valve KE100 can be set to regulate the temperature according to the information provided by the Tapo temperature sensor.
Check more information about Kasa KE100 KIT here. T310 sensor info is in Q21, 'Can KE100 work with external temperature sensors?'. Frequently Asked Questions about KE100 KIT

Re:Tapo T310

Thank you for your helpful advice Wayne-TP. I have three KE 100 thermostats. I successfully setup the Kasa hub and linked it to the first KE 100 thermostat in my bedroom; I have also set up a schedule for it coming on at certain temperatures during the day and it worked fine. The other two KE 100 thermostats I am installing on two radiators in my large sitting room, I also have the hub in that room. I intend to put the T310 temperature and humidity sensor in the living room. So will I be able to only connect it to the two thermostats in that room to control just those two. I assume it will not have any effect on the one in my bedroom? TIA
