Model: Tapo H100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

1. Problem Description:

  • My Tapo Hub H100 suddenly lost connection to the network and cannot be reset using the physical reset button.
  • I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists.

2. Steps Taken to Resolve the Issue:

  • Power-cycled the hub by unplugging and re-plugging it.
  • Verified that my Wi-Fi is working and set to 2.4 GHz.
  • Moved the hub closer to the router.
  • Pressed and held the reset button for 10+ seconds, but it didn’t respond.
  • Checked power .
  • Attempted to reconnect the hub via the Tapo app, but it remains offline.
  • Confirmed that other Tapo devices on the same network are functioning correctly.

3. Observations:

  • The LED indicator on the hub behaves as follows: (still blue no yellow after pushing sync button).
  • The reset button seems: (responsive,).

4. Device Information:

  • Model: Tapo Hub H100
  • App Version: (iphone , 3.9.102)
  • Network Configuration: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

5. Additional Questions for Support:

  • Is there an alternative method to reset the hub if the button is unresponsive?
  • Could this issue be due to a firmware bug or hardware failure?
  • What are the next steps for repair or replacement?
  • Is there any way to fix it because our country doesn’t have TP-Link local support?
