Hi community!

Just bought 2pc. Tapo C325WB and set them up at my property! It's not my house, it is my business site and office. One think that bothers me is that picture quality specially at darker time of day is not enough to recognise any persons that are walking even directly under the camera site... That's around 5-6meters close! Where is that 2K resolution?!

I am satisfied with detection range of those cameras and notifications, but resolution is just much too low...

Is there anything that can be done about it!? Any suggestions?

Another question is why can't I download video when I am away from network that cameras are connected to? Is there solution for that?

Hi,
Please confirm the following information about the reported issue for further analysis.
1. How many devices are streaming the camera's live feed simultaneously? If you reboot the camera and then try again, is the video quality the same as before?
2. Would you please send us a video showing the reported issue?
3. Is the spotlight on when the camera detects events?

Currently, you can only download the video clips stored on the SD card when you are on the same network as the camera. If you want to download the video clips remotely, it's suggested to vote on this thread and leave your usage scenario for evaluation.

Best Regards

Thanks for quick reply! 👍

The answers to your questions are following:

There is 3 cameras and hub working through router. 2x c325wb and 1x c420 + hub(A200) (No any other devices that are using internet, just those!)

I gladly will share video and screenshots, just tell me to what email to send those, or how can I do that!

Spotlights are off, but even at day time when there is light enough picture quality is much too low for what is needed for recognition of persons that camera sees..

Will wait for your reply about video and/or screenshot sending!

Thanks!

Hi,
You can upload the videos and screenshots to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), then generate a link to download them and send me the link via a private message.
If you do not have a cloud subscription, please feel free to let me know.
Best Regards
