Hi,

I bought a S200B and my plan was to use it in a Google Home automation using the script editor to turn on/off a few lights of different brands.

When I search for new devices in Google Home the S200B is not added to Google. When searching online I find several pages that says it's compatible with Google but I can't find any clear info from TP-Link/Tapo.

Question 1: Is S200B compatible with Google Home?

I gave up trying after a while but found this ( https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/706538 ) community post that says that S200B should be able to be connected to Google Home with Matter, but the device was not delivered with a Matter QR code and I can't find any number to connect it without a QR code.

Question 2: Is the S200B compatible with Matter?

If yes, how can I connect it without a QR code?

Tapo S200B doesn't support Google Home. Despite it can now be added to Google Home through Tapo hub (Matter Bridge), the smart button does not support any skills so far, in other words, it cannot be used as a Google routine starter.

  Hi @Wayne-TP

That's too bad, but I guess that the integration to Google Home comes for S200B eventually.

You confirm that it can be connected using matter but can you please tell me how?

Because the device was not delivered with a matter QR code and I don't understand which number to use for connecting it with matter. (I would like to experiment a bit.)

Does it have to be a specific Tapo hub to connect to matter? (I have 2 H100 and 1 Kasa KH100)
