Tapo Smart Bulb keeps resetting itself
Tapo Smart Bulb keeps resetting itself. It happened 3 times already. It will suddenly turn on and blink in yellow color, then it will go offline in the Tapo app. It won't be detectable even after turning off/on the switch. So I would need to delete it and add it again in the app.
I encountered this problem 2 consecutive days.
I have the latest firmware. Is this a faulty bulb? What's going on?

This problem doesn't seem usual, you may try to install the light bulb to another light fixture.
Factory reset the smart bulb, see if that helps. How to reset the Tapo smart bulb If it happens again, factory reset the smart bulb again and leave it unconfigured, monitor whether the problem still occurs in its default state.
Does the light bulb blink once or keep blinking non-stop? Please share a video here.

@Wayne-TP it'll blink non-stop and will stop after a while. Then it'll go offline and I would need to delete and add it again in the app.

@Wayne-TP tried the soft reset and factory reset but it didn't turn on at all after switching it on/off 3 times or 5 times.
I've had this for around 2 months. It happened again. It turned on and off while it was off. It did that for 2 times. Checked the app and it went offline again. Tried resetting, as mentioned, didn't work.

Smart bulb should be in the ON state before the reset, then perform OFF&ON operation for 5 times.
