Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.11

Purchased this camera few days ago , worked well at home , this morning try to access remotely , worked well , showed recording , but now cannot access live view , displays black screen , with the squiggle going around trying to load with no luck? 

Bit frustrated , will to re start camera when i go home , but its annoying .

do i have to do a factory reset /

 

Can you please advise

Please check the app version.... On the homepage of your Tapo app, check the bottom menu, go to Me tab, click About, then you can find the app version at the bottom.

 

The latest version 3.7.522 (Android) has included some enhancements regarding the camera viewing experience. You may update the app to this version and check if it helps with your case.

the camera can be viewd through the smartthings app remotley , but when i try through the Tapo app doe not work , or cannot view recorded items even while you are on the local network . version V2

seems like a few people are having the same issue , where i cannot view remotely on the Tapo app , but i can view live feed via the smatthings app. also cannot view recorded items while on local network , can only download and view .

What's the version of your Tapo app (Tapo app > Me > About)? What's the model and Android/iOS version of your phone?
