MacOS using the iPad app
For the last year or so, the iPad app on MacOS has been working fine. There was an update 2-3 days ago. When it was downloaded, the app seems to work ok but today, it refuses to start up.
1) Not everyone using a Mac uses the entire apple ecosystem. I use macs but find the ipad/iphones restrictive with apps not allowing me to do things like wifi scanning etc so i use android devices. The Tapo line up has been around for a while now and while the development on the iOS and Android mobile devices has been good, the MacOS app is non-existent.
2) I have an entire ecosystem of Tapo devices with over 30 cameras, 20+ plugs, 12 lighting, 4 hubs, 20 sensors and a couple of switches at home and even more in the office. I need a MacOS app so everything can be monitored and controlled from my desktop without having to pick up a device when i am at home or at work.
I think its about time development for a dedicated MacOS app is put in that works for the new silicon class of macs. Thank you for your kind consideration.
