This doesn't happen all the time, but I'm seeing instances of the motion detection getting triggered and the camera records for HOURS, filling up the memory card with essentially nothing happening.

 

Here's how it normally looks;

 

 

Then once in a while it'll keep recording even with no action in the detection zone its monitoring; here's an example from this morning.. it recorded from 4:40am (when a motion even did trigger it) to 8:45am (when I realised and actually ended up rebooting the camera).

 

 

I'm not set to do any continuous recording, as you can see in the schedule settings;

 

 

I'm on the latest firmware and the sensitivity is set to 6 for motion, which seems ok to me, since 99% of the time it behaves correctly.

 

Anyone else seeing this issue?

This issue is weird, please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log after the problem is reproduced for further analysis.
How to get the log of Tapo Camera?

  @Solla-topee It's taken a while for this to happen again, but I've captured a log (attached) from when it occurred yesterday, where it recorded for 5hrs 28min.

 

 

There was also a shorter instance of this from the day before (4th December) which lasted 8 minutes with no observable movement during that period apart from the initial trigger.
