Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.13

Hello,

I just bought a Tapo C200.
The camera is brand new, bought on Amazon.

The camera doesn't turn left or right, it's only gowing up and down.

My firmware is up to date, and I've tried several thing, like reboot, reset, nothing works.

I've tried also to turn it manually, this works good, but not what I'm looking for...

Is the camera broken inside and is not able to turn ?! The package was in good conditionning.

I planed to buy multiple camera for all my house, but for the moment I will cancel my plan..

Thanks.

Judikael

Hi
If the camera will pan automatically when rebooting it or pan it manually, but not pan when tapping the pan button on the Tapo app, please check if the Tapo app is up to date.
If so, try to factory reset the camera, reconfigure it, and check if it helps.
If the problem remains, it may be the camera has an issue, and you can contact your retailer or local support to check if it's under warranty.
Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

Hi, thanks for you answer.

I think the camera is broken, as it doesn't pan automatically after a reboot.

The app is up to date, and I already tried the factory reset.

I guess I will send it back.

Thank you !
