can someone please explain how the tapo app connects to my web cam installed at home via the internet? is the connection secure?

The Tapo app controls the Tapo camera remotely via the TP-Link cloud server. After the camera is configured successfully, it will connect to the TP-Link cloud server. When controlling the smart camera remotely with the Tapo app, the app sends commands to the cloud server and then the cloud server sends the commands to the cmaera to achieve the remote control usage scenario.
