I just bought these cameras and I'm about to return them 🥲

VLC locally won't connect to RTSP Stream unless I start the steam on my phone app. 

I don't have Tapp Care enabled and I don't have and sd card on any of my cameras. I just want to be able to view my cameras via RTSP. (ON ANYTHING LITERALLY) 

At this point I can keep the steam alive if I have the phone app steam alive. After I close the tapo app on my phone shortly after anything on the RTSP stream is no longer active. 

Please let me know how I can debug this...
