Phenomenon Description
Models of robot vacuums that come with an auto-empty dock, support auto-emptying and manual emptying via the app. If the device fails to execute the emptying task, you should first determine which component isn't functioning.
- It's essential to understand that auto-emptying only activates after the device has accumulated over 30 minutes of cleaning time. The accumulated cleaning time will be reset after the emptying operation.
- The emptying operation, whether auto-emptying or manual emptying, cannot exceed three times within a ten-minute timeframe.
- Auto-emptying will be disabled during the Do Not Disturb mode.
Note: Avoid facing the empty dock directly to the sun or incandescent light (mainly the front side)

Initiate dust collection in local WiFi. Make sure your phone is connected to the local Wi-Fi network when attempting to perform the emptying operation, to avoid potential failure due to the robot vacuum losing connection to the cloud.

Try out the following steps if your robot vacuum refuses to empty itself even with the App control.
1. Keep the robot vacuum connected to the dock
2. Power off the empty dock for 1-2 minutes
3. Restart robot vacuum with its side switch.
4. Power on the empty dock
5. Now, try to empty the dustbin again in Tapo App
