I have purchased the c200, activated 2.4ghz on my router, when I try to connect the camera it asks to use the wifi and sets up TAPO_CAM_9BC5 This says it has excellent signal strength but "cannot provide internet" so does not connect to the camera.

 

Is there a step I am missing?

Hi,
The Tapo_cam_9BC5 is the default SSID of the camera, and it has no internet access.

You can refer to the instructions below to configure the camera. Pay attention to step 3, your phone needs to connect to the default SSID so the Tapo app can find the camera and go next step.
