Tapo P110 design fouls opposite sockets in some multi-gang adapters

The UK version of the P110 prevents the use of other sockets in a multi-gang plug adapter.
Sockets in a multi-gang plug adapter are sometimes placed head-to-head, as cables "trail" beneath the plug. The "top-heavy" design of the P110 means using one prevents the use of the opposite socket. For example, using a P110 in sockets A or B prevent the use of sockets C and D respectively.

If the P110 design were inverted, so the electronics (i.e. where the power light and tapo logo are) were on the "underside" of the socket, this wouldn't be the case.
