D230S1 Setup failure
I've just purchased the above. The Hub has set up OK. The doorbell flashes red/greed yet despite many resets and battery replacements, won't connect to the Hub.
Before I return this as a faulty unit, is there anthing else I should try?

Hi,
Please try the following steps to troubleshoot.
1. Please ensure the hub Tapo H200 is configured successfully and working. Let me know the LED status on the hub.
Please try the instructions below if the hub can't be configured successfully.

Hi,
What status of the LED on the doorbell camera? Such as flashing red quickly, solid red, etc.
When you press and hold on the SYNC/RESET Button on the doorbell camera for 5s, any changes to the LED status?
Anything happens on the doorbell camera, and then it has an abnormal LED? Such as firmware updates.

The doorbell camera is flashing red and green.
Pressing the SYNC/RESET button for 5 seconds makes it briefly flash just red, but then it goes back to red and green.
I've installed (multiple) firmware updates to the Hub, as prompted by the mobile app, but I've not connected to the doorbell yet.

@Customer0 Hi, I had my doorbell successully set up for about 2 weeks now.
I had to re set my wifi box as the TV was frozen, which meant I had to reset the hub and doorbell. However, this time the doorbell is not connecting to the hub. The battery is fully charged. The hub is set up and ready to pair.
I put the battery into the doorbell. The LED flashes just red.
I tried to sync/battery reset, it stayed flashing just red.
I pressed the synce button for 1 second, it turns to flashing just green for a few seconds and then turns to just red again.
I have the doorbell right beside the hub and have tried everything mentioned in this thread.
It is not flashing red/green, it's either just flashing red for the majority, or a short time just green, when i press the sync button.
The hub is ready to pair as it has been reset.
Help!

Hi
If the doorbell's LED flashes red slowly, it means the doorbell is offline and has not been reset successfully.
1. Please go to the Tapo app>Home tab and delete/remove the doorbell even if it displays offline status on the app.
2. After powering on the doorbell, please hold the SYNC/RESET button for 10 seconds to factory reset it, and check if the LED on the doorbell will be flashing red and green.
Best Regards
