i would like to use ONVIF in software on my computer to control pan & tilt with a joystick. however, ONVIF is currently not available with an sd card inserted. if possible, i would like to be able to use ONVIF with an sd card inserted.

Usually, if you haven't subscribed to the Tapo Care service, you can watch the camera via ONVIF stream even if an SD card is inserted.

 

I think your feature request is that when the Tapo Camera has subscribed to the Tapo Care service and inserted an SD card, you can still control/watch the camera via ONVIF protocol. While we don't have any specific details that I can share about if this feature can come to the product or when it might, I'll log the feature request and pass it along to the team to evaluate.

Yes, I am a subscriber to Tapo Care. I subscribe to Tapo Care, which is useful and I would hate to cancel it. However, I would like to be able to control pan & tilt with the joystick from my computer. I am waiting for the next update.
