Tapo app on TP-link cameras

Hi,
I have two Tapo cameras where I use the Tapo-app. Now I'am looking for cameras supporting POE and if I have understood everything there's no Tapo-cameras supporting this but there is TP-link with POE (TP-Link VIGI C400HP). Can I use the Tapo-app with TP-link cameras aswell?

Hi,
The Tapo app is unable to work with the TP-Link VIGI camera, however, we have the VIGI app to configure and manage the VIGI cameras.

Thanks for a quick answer. I suppose the VIGI-app don't support Tapocameras then? Is there any ongoing projects so it will be possible in the near future?

Hi,
You are right that the VIGI app doesn't support the Tapo camera. I'll forward the inquiry to the related team to evaluate, but it's hard to say when and whether an app will be able to manage the two products.
If you have a VIGI NVR, you can add the Tapo Camera and VIGI camera in the VIGI NVR to use them.
