Surveillance Station on Synology NAS
Ok, here it goes. I have two wireless routers. My main wireless router connects all my devices and has its own subnet. My Synology NAS is connected to this router. The other wireless router is connected to my wireless IoT devices and has its own subnet. I want to connect my camera to the Surveillance Station on my Synology NAS, but I've tried everything and can't get it to work. The only way it picks up the cameras is if they're on the same subnet as the Synology NAS. Is there a way to connect my camera on a different subnet and wireless router to the Surveillance Station on my Synology NAS with a different router and subnet? Both routers are connected to a switch and the secondary wireless router for the IoT devices receives internet information from my main wireless router. I tried port forwarding but couldn't get the cameras to connect to the Surveillance Station on the NAS. Maybe I'm not doing it right. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Could you please provide the settings for the first router as well? The target IP of the first router should be set as the WAN IP of the second router. Additionally, make sure that the internal port on the first router matches the external port specified for the Tapo camera in the port forwarding table of the second router.
Here is an example of port forwarding settings for such network topology.
Network Topology: Internet---Router 1---Router 2---Tapo Camera
Router 1 LAN IP: 192.168.2.1
Router 2 WAN IP: 192.168.2.5, LAN IP: 192.168.0.1
Tapo Camera IP: 192.168.0.100, service port: 554
Router 1:
- External port: 50001 <Custom/ Same as the internal port>
- Internal port: 50001
- Internal IP: 192.168.2.5
Router 2:
- External port: 50001 <Custom/ Same as the internal port>
- Internal port: 554
- Internal IP: 192.168.0.100

Hello! Can you share some pictures of your port forwarding settings? Here is the RTSP & ONVIF service port number, FYI.
ONVIF Service Port: 2020
RTSP Service Port: 554
This instruction may also help. How can I connect my Tapo camera to a NAS?

@Wayne-TP I have opened the ports on the wireless router that has the cameras connected to it. Do I also have to open the ports on the wireless router that has the Synology NAS running the Surveillance Station? Here is the picture.

Yes, the service ports should be opened on both routers if the camera and the NAS are under different NAT.

@Wayne-TP I opened ports on both routers, but so far have had no luck getting the Surveillance Station to connect to the cameras.I wonder if anyone has setup their cameras in the same way as me.
