Model: Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.21

Just purchased two of these cameras and cannot set them up with static IP addresses.

There's no option on any of the settings I can find, and I can't force my router to give it a "static" DHCP assignment because there's an underscore in the hostname "c320ws_664203" which is not a legal character and not accepted.  Swap it with a hyphen and all is good.

I would think a company with this much networking experience not to make such a rookie mistake.

  @Lumberjack

A suggestion : You can reserve an IP address for a specific MAC address in the router / DHCP server.

and yes it seems that the people who made these cameras are of a completely different department to the one that makes TPLink Routers. The level of features and quality found in these cameras are a abysmal.
