Seems like others are also experiencing this but none of the threads in the forum have a resolution.

Tp link Kansaa app and Google home are linked. Used to work fine when k asked google hub to display camera. And a few months ago it stopped working.

It still recognizes the voice command but it never displays. 

I tried unlinking and relinking. I uninstalled camera completely and redid the whole thing. Still doesn't work.

To be clear, the Camera works fine in kasaa app. 

Our Google nest hub recognizes the command. It even notifies us with camera motion. It just will not display it. 

Sounds like this is due to a software update. What can be done to fix this?

Thank you for the case report and for sharing case details with the community.

 

  • Please confirm Google Smart display like Google Nest Hub/Chromecast is on the latest firmware. 
  • Ensure the camera is available in the TP-Link App over the internet when the phone is on the mobile data. 
  • Try to reboot kasa camera and reboot your Google hub

 

To look into what happened, can you share more information here 

1> A video clip showing the issue or a photo of it 

2> Google hub model & hardware and firmware version 

3> MAC address of  camera, please share via PM, thank you.
