P110 plug and Google Ambient mode on Lenovo Tab P11
Hello,
I'm using the P110 plug with Google assistant and I successfully added it to the google home app. I added also the L510E lamp to my home.
I'm using the Google assistant Ambient Mode on my Lenovo Tab P11 Wifi with Android 11 and in the Ambient Mode I can see the L510E shortcut but the P110 button/shortcut is missing.
I already tried to unlink and relink Tapo in the google home app but with no changes.
Is this problem normal or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!

Hello @Riley_Blue,
I found a solution! I change the "Device type" in the google Home app in the P110 smart plug settings: I change from "plug" to "lamp".
Now I have under "Device type" in the P110 smart plug settings > Lamp(plug) and I have its on/off button in the ambient mode of my Lenovo Tab P11.

As far as i know, tapo does not have widget on Android system, you may want to ask this on the google community. Is only this shortcut missing? Can you control the plug with voice command or with google/Tapo APP normally?

@Riley_Blue Thank for your answer :)
I think it's not an Android widget, after I added the link with Tapo service in the Google Home app a "button" with the name of my L510E lamp appeared in the Google Assistant Ambient Mode to turn it on and off, the name of the P110 smartplug it's not showing instead. The google voice commands are working flawlessly to turn on/off L510E and P110 both.
I posted this question to the Google community, too.
Have a nice day

Wow that's cool, and strange too... So the tapo is now a Lamp (device type) in the google home? Or is that a customized type, you can change the name whatever you want?
What happen if you change it back to the Plug type?

Yes, the TAPO plug is shown as a lamp in google home, but I can only turn it on/off, I can't control the brightness level (like L510E lamp).
I can change its name and if I put it back to plug type I can still control it with google voice commands and in google home but it disappear from the Ambient mode.
