TP-link produkts should ALL work with Kasa

I have many Smart plugs from TP-Link at home. Some are the model line up called kasa and some new I bought are from the model line up called tapo.
the problem is that TP-link has made a change between these smart plugs that look exactly the same but they demand different apps.
from a company that clearly states in their advertisements that everything should be under one roof it is abundantly clear that is not how TP-Link operates.
Please fix your products so either all smart plugs can work in Kasa regardless if it's a Tapo model line up or not. It is after all still TP-Link.
unless TP-Link is like eBay and all products from tp-link are just oem of some other brand? Perhaps that's the case? What other reason could you possibly have for not allowing both kasa and Tapo to be controlled by the same app. Just imagine if Philips hue did this or any Google Product. It's a disgrace.
