C200 does not show detected events
C200 does not show detected events
I have three C200 and one C310 camera.
All cameras exept one C200 shows detected events available for playback in the "detected events" list.
The first picture has one event, but no playback available (problem). Second picture has several events with several playbacks available.
I have tried with resets, firmwares and new SD cards. The camera says the SD is good. I am available to watch playbacks if i manually scroll the timeline.
How do i get the camera to show detected events in the list?

Hi @RotorTom
Thank you for raising this topic on TP-Link community.
Can you check what's the hardware version of this Tapo C200? And also the hardware version of the other two C200s.
(APP->camera liveview page->camera settings->click the name/model of the camera.)

@Wayne-TP I have this same issues - have some tc65 cams that do show detected events but my two c200's don't. Mailed support and there has been asking about hardware / software versions but I have this feeling that they just don't but no one is saying that. I found the online documentation and the images of that screen are different with the different models. Would be so much better if they did.

I see that the affected camera is HW v2 but the others are v3.
Suppose only v3 support this function then.
Sad as i bought them all in the same store only weeks apart.

I also have the same problem. However, it has worked perfectly fine for more than a year. Then this suddenly happened. Should I expect an update that can fix this issue?

I got three c200 cameras to monitor my dog when im away, but im confused if I need tapo care or not.
If I use sd cards on it, will the camera still save motion detection events? Will I be able to access these video recordings anywhere (away from home)?
If yes, what is the real advantage of tapo care?

If resetting, updating the firmware, and trying new SD cards did not resolve the issue, you may need to contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. It's possible that the camera's software needs to be updated or there could be a hardware issue.

Thank you for the feedback. For this issue, you try to reboot the camera or re-insert the SD card. Note: re-insert the SD may ask you to format the SD card, please backup the video files if there is any important video.

@charmin.armin Thank you for the feedback, can you tell us your camera model, hardware, and firmware version? What's the Tapo APP version? It will be helpful if you can provide a screenshot here.
