The plug is no longer switching.
The relay inside is making a noise when it switches from off to on and back again. However, the state is always ON.
I have tried the reset (hold power for 5 seconds) but this makes no difference.
The state is always on whether it is manually switched or in-app.

It sounds a bad plug and need to be replaced.
Be careful the power of a connected a device like a lamp kettle should be within the max power consumption.
Hi, I have exactly the same problem with a P110.
As an electronic engineer I can tell you, yes the relay contacts are stuck closed as they have welded together.
This is caused by poor filtering within the Tapo, bad design.
The only short term solution is to tap it to free up the relay. Only problem is, it will keep happening.
When I say "tap" I mean a short sharp knock, don't smash the heck out of it no matter how much you might be tempted...
If they had used a TRIAC instead of a cheap relay switch this would have been avoided and we would all be happy.
