The KS230 does not come with a Motion activated feature in the hardware,

@Ravi_  for one of our 3 ways by a side entrance, we were fortunate that there was a neutral in both primary and secondary switch boxes.  As it was an area perfect for motion triggered lighting, I used two KS220M/ES20M as per @Solla-topee but wired them in parallel so that they each worked independently to trigger the same light fixture.

This is quite straight forward if you know each of your wires, line, trav1, trav2, load, etc.

Pre-requisites

* Independent Neutral wires in both boxes (usually white but do not assume).  If your secondary box only has 3 wires, two are travellers and the other is load to the fixture.

Switch Box 1

1. Twist or lever nut on the Line wire to an appropriate additional electrical wire long enough to connect to the (first) KS220M line in screw.

2. Twist or lever nut on Traveller 1 wire into the same line wire twist cap or lever nut.  To share the line / hot wire from Switch Box 1 to Switch Box 2

3. Insert Traveller 2 wire into the load of the KS220M switch.

4. Insert other needed wires, Neutral and Ground .

Switch Box 2

1. Find the correct Traveller 1 which iin fact is carrying the line / hot from Switch Box 1 and insert into the (second) KS220M line in screw

2. Twist or lever nut on the Load wire to an appropriate additional electrical wire long enough to connect to the (second) KS220M load out screw

3. Twist or lever nut on Traveller 2 wire into the same load wire twist cap or lever nut/  To allow KS220M switches from both Box 1 and Box 2 to pass on load signal

4. Insert other needed wires, Neutral and Ground

Using two KS220M independently in parallel through 3 way wiring where Neutral is present in both boxes works well for scenarios but may not work well for larger 3 way spaces with some dead spots, where you might want the lights to only turn on when sensing motion, and then manually pressing the switches to turn the light off.  As there is no 3 way.
