Model: Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello,

Currently have 3 Tapo C320WS outdoor cameras and extending this to 8.

Can i use one power adaptor (9V 0.6A) from one camera and split the supply via jack plug splitter cable to feed all 8 cameras with power?

If not 8 cameras then would it be possible to do this say for 2 x 4 cameras -

Really don't want 8 plugs if i can get around that?

Is it as simple as getting a 9V 5A power supply,(8 cameras x 0.6A = 4.8A), then using a jack splitter?

thaanks

Update for anyone looking into this - I now have 5 Tapo C320WS cameras. I have used a 9v DC 6 amp (54 watt) power supply from CPC (order code PW04318 I then got a 8 way power splitter cable from Amazon - 21.mm to 5.5mm male to female After 2 weeks all cameras are still working perfectly
