Hi Tapo team,

 

 

I'd like to know of there's a setting that allows for the cruise option so that it cruises between the two mark points that I've set ?

 

The cruise feature is good however I don't need the camera to rotate it's full travel each way. 

 

Would be great to limit the travel between the two custom mark points so that when cruise is switched on I'm not looking into neighbours yards or into a brick wall as it does full rotation.

Thank you for sharing the idea of the Patrol or Cruise mode for the Tapo camera, this sounds to be pretty useful.

Currently, the Tapo APP supports setting up marked positions for the pan/tilt camera, so you can rotate the camera to a fixed point soon but not cruise room from the maked location. As the workaround, you may also check if the camera has Motion tracking feature which could track the activity/ movement.

  @Solla-topee I am very interested in this functionality. Please, consider to implement it in next firmware updates to avoid spending time viewing my wall during horizontal cruises.

This is a must have. This makes more sense than the current patrol modes.

 @Solla-topee I would definitely love this feature of continuous horizontal/vertical cruise as it seems to currently be fixated at only 1 place and I have to specifically go into the app to view the remainder of the area.

This feature should be added, because not everyone wants patrol mode, cruise mode will be better. Tapo cameras are full of features but once this feature will be added it will be very different from other products available in the market
