Tapo P100 v1.2 not activating with Alexa Skill.
Hi!
I have a new Tapo P100 smart plug. I can configure it without problems with Tapo App in Android. All works properly. Plug P100 can be turn On/off remotely with the APP.
The Hardware version is v1.2 and Firmware is: 1.4.10 Build 20211104 Rel. 35882
The problem is when I try to activate Tapo P100 with Alexa.
I look for Tapo Skill in Alexa App, insert Tapo ID and Password of Tapo Account, and I always get the same message:
"Operation failed. Please try again later".
I have sent the activation link to my PC Browser, used other android browser, but message is always the same: "Operation failed. Please try again later".
Any idea where is the problem? in the Tapo App Configuration or in Alexa App configuration? I have no more ideas about what to try. I have reset both Alexa and tapo P100 device and start from scratch, but always is the same, when trying to activate Tapo Skill with Alexa it is impossible: "Operation failed. Please try again later".
Please help.
