I found a way to connect and control more strips with one controller but only parallel. So now instead of having a 12 m continuous strip ill have 3 strips of 4 m working in the same way but at least i can control all at once. It was nicer to do that from software with multiple controllers and hopefully it will be possible in the future.

Hello @CRISTSC
Thank you for asking, using Tapo APP Shortcut feature, you could add all 3 power strips into a group and turn them ON together , I replied your another post here.
Each power strip is now 5-meter long and not extensional yet.
22/07 Correction : Tapo L900-10 has two 5 meter long devices.

@Solla-topee Thank you for replay but this option is controlling only the power option not all the features. Also L920-10 is using 2 of 5m strips in parallel as i understand.
I did manage to full control 3 strips with one controller so the only thing that i still need is the ability to activate some effects using voice commands. I also build a simple relay interface to cut the power of the strips when off exactly like it was originally to avoid unnecessary heating of IC`s.
One advice is to cheep the length of wires from controller to strips at maximum 3m otherwise faulty communication will ruin your colors and effects.
I can provide my schematic if anybody wants but keep in mind that you need some soldering skills and basic electronics understanding.

@Solla-topee Where can I find the information on the chip that's used on the LED strip itself (like, is it a WS8211, WS8212, etc.)?
I want to create a custom controller to power the excess parts of the strip from when I cut it down to size, as it's pretty poor to just throw it out.

Hi.
I have 1 set of l900 ,10 meters long. I have to order another one (5m) because i needed exta 1 meter.
So now another half works as it should. And another is doing totally diffrent colours(or nothing at all), can that extencion make it somehow mailfunctionin? or is there diffrent versions of L900. Only mutual calor i can get is blue... and still that one meter is red :DD

my lightstrip stopped working And I received a replacement which after installation stopped working after 2days. Same problem as the first one.
the light strip has got power but resetting the controller is not working and after trying everything possible I can't get any light on.
any idea? or anyone else has the same problem ?
the replacement process is not the most user friendly process.
thanks
