Implemented [FEATURE REQUEST] TAPO Cameras ADD STATIC IP
good day tp-link I would like to atleast have a static ip option for the tapo cameras, its especially important when you have a central dvr and most cctv ipcams have static ip option. I know that we should set a static IP on the router but it does not always work, the tapo camera goes for its dhcp first then after turning it off and on again it gets its static ip assignment. if we have a blackout and the power goes on back again the tapo camera will boot first before the router which would mess up the ip again. I hope STATIC IP feature is added. thanks

The fact that this is not an option is mind boggling. Please remedy this on the C210 as well as these cameras are essentially useless for anyone who wants to use them outside of the terrible mobille app.

Such a shame that we can't assign a fixed IP. We need 2000 cameras and we are going with cheaper Chinese cameras as tp link can't figure out a simple issue and fix things. The developers watching this thread are responsible for the loss in sales

In the meantime, if you are looking for an alternative solution to assign a static IP address to your camera, you can try configuring the address reservation feature on your router.

it was the first thing i tried, but my router (Orange cable modem) fails when i want to assign/reserve a specific IP to a specific device (mac adress).
So no option for me. :/

@Solla-topee We have already done mac-reservation and mac-binding. It works to "some" but mostly or most of my c210 and c310 tapo cameras just occupies random ip addresses. We are really waiting for the day this basic feature is added. Please add this feature in the TAPO APP and VIGI APP for ios and andriod please.
