I can ping the hub but the phone app is not recognizing it.

 

I have many other devices being managed by the KASA app.

 

Any other options?

Hey@K-Bruce 

For 'I can ping the hub but the phone app is not recognizing it.' do you mean hub is not available or could not be found in the APP during set up process? can you share some details and the photo of the error? May I know the model of your router, thank you. 

 

  • Try to lower router/ modem firewall settings
  • Change router 's DNS to 8.8.8.8

Did you try to factory reset hub and add it in the camera again?

  • Please make sure Kasa app is up to date first,
  • Factory  reset KH300 as Page 4 in this User Guide here, later try to set up the hub on kasa app :https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2757/
