Model: Tapo L510B
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.8 20201210 Rel. 55943

Cannot connect my bulb to Home Assistant. The only reason I purchased this item was to connect to my home system

The MAC address of my device is 84-D8-1B-60-F7-E5

Just added a colour bulb Tapo L530B and have the same problem,

MAC Address E4-C3-2A-CC-67-07; Hardware version 1.0.0; Firmware version 1.1.5 Build 20200817 Rel. 50814.

On this device did not perform hardware update.

Help please.

@SeanMack

Hi,

Thank you for your patience.

Tapo devices did not support the integrations with Home Assistant.

On the Home Assistant website, only some of the Kasa devices are listed, although we have never officially authorized this integration;

Thanks a lot and wait for your reply.

@SeanMack

If that is the case I will just have to get rid of them and move on with other devices that are supported.

I am sorry about having to do that because I liked the TP-Link devices.
