Legacy Kasa Care Plans - it was meant to be free!
When I purchased my Kasa Cameras, just under 2 years ago...the information provided was clear;
- I would receive 2 days of free cloud access for the lifetime of the product. (after the premium Kasa Care trial had ended)
This of course, has now been changed after I purchased, to;
- 2 days free cloud access for 2 years after the camera was first activated.
Obviously this isn't what I purchased. If I knew my camera would become a paperweight after 2 years, I wouldn't have purchased.
This isn't something early adopters should have to suffer, when the camera were clearly being sold as 2 days free cloud storage free...not just for the first 2 years.
The change has dissapointed me, and as my first camera approaches the later imposed 2 year deadline...I wonder, do I return the cameras? Do I sell? Or will TP-Link do the right thing and honour the initial terms of sale and provide the stated free cloud service for all those that purchased whilst this was being offered?
