Hi I cannot activate the remote tab in Kasa i get "can not connect to the sever" 

 

ive tried reinstalling but doesn't seem to work

Please factry reset the smart plug or remove it from the Kasa App, then configure it from the scratch. Usually you will not be able to see the remote control option because it will be enabled by default.

 

However, if you are still unable to control it remotely, please check firmware version of the plug and Kasa App version, update them if there is any newer version,

 

By the way, please make sure the internet of your router is working fine and turn off firewall if there is on your router.
