@RyanEverhart789 There's a fantastic workaround!
- Download the Samsung Smartthings app
- Create an account and log in
- Import your Kasa devices
- Turn off your Kasa Smart Actions
- In Smartthings:
- Tap the hamburger menu
- Tap Automations
- Create an automation such as:
- If Bathroom fan is turned on
- Then (select on)
- Make sure Delay this action is turned off
- Tap Auto turn off and select time
- Save your automation
- Do this as many times as you need to.
Note for Google Home users, you will NEED to unlink the Kasa app and link the Smartthings app instead or the devices won't use the timer if you use Google to turn them on or off.
It's free, you don't need to buy anything additional, and it just works. I've spent tons of time playing with WebCore which is frustrating at best, then waiting for Kasa to update their app. This now works beautifully!
Enjoy!

Hello everyone,
Thank you for feedback in regard to the Smart Action feature, the Smart Actions were one of the most powerful features in the Kasa Application, previously it also had the most limitations placed on it that only 3 smart actions can be active at a time. This was always one of the hottest topics amongst our users, and we are now glad to announce: The Limit of Three Smart Actions Has Been Removed with the new Kasa 3.0 APP . You can now create as many smart actions (up to 64 entries) as you need to automate every inch of your house.

Hello, you can refer to the statement to get more information.
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2567/
And we released the smart action partially now to test their performance.
You can keep an eye on official website to wait for the updates whether the number of smart action will be added.
Good day.

@Kevin_Z doesn't really answer the question why. The statement on the page you refer us to just says the limit is 3.
In your answer above you state you released it partially now to test performance but would be nice to understand with clarity whether you will remove the limit once the performance doubts are removed.
My concern is whether TP-Link is holding back that feature set in order to have users pay for more than 3 smart actions. If so, I'd like to know in order to factor that additional cost into my purchase decisions. I don't want to have a paid subscription just to have more smart actions.
Thanks!

Hello, the smart action will be released officially, while the estimated release time is still unsure.
As far as I know, there is no such information about the paid subscription and the supported smart action entries yet. You can keep an eye on official website for the updates.
May it help.

@Kevin_Z I Have spent hundreds of dollars on your hardware... I should be allowed AT LEAST 3 smart actions per device I bought, for FREE, I will not pay for a subscribtion... This is the point of upgrading to a smart home, so the software improves and improves based on what users need. If you arent able to handle that, I suspect Wemo or Hue will be the way to go despite the cost. At least they understand their customers use the hardware to the fullest capabilites and if you are not willing to provide what other companies do... again... for FREE... then it will be time for cutomers to move on from this company and look elsewhere for smart home hardware. As well as customer service should be informing us on what is going on with this stuff, not just linking us to the webpage and saying find it yourself.

You have GOT to be kidding me!!!
I just dumped my WEMO devices to switch to KASA. Got them all set up, and then suddenly find I'm limited to only 3 Smart Actions?!?!
I AM LEGIMATELY "P'D OFF" and will be calling their "support" line.
