Good day,

People do not hear me when l speak via the kasa app. The campus in my porch and the audio is way too low for anyone to hear me. But I hear clearly when people speak to me via the camera.

Can anyone say how to increase the volume so that I am heard when talking to people in my porch

Dex

Hi,

How far away between you and the camera when you are speaking? Try to stand closer and speak louder and check whether people can hear you.

How do you locate the camera? Cause the sound detector is on the side panel, please ensure that there is nothing covered.

Besides, what about the volume on the cellphone?

Have a nice day.

It's not the audio from the camera thag is the issue. It's the speaker volume on the camera. I have the same issue with my KC120. I can easily hear sounds picked up by the camera, but the audio played to the camera when I press the 2way audio button in the Kasa app is extremely low. If I speak really loud into the mic on my phone, it's still low but somewhat possible to have a conversation. Can the speaker volume on the camera be increased?

@TheFaint

Thanks for your reply, may I know what is the model number of your cellphone?

FYI, the volume of the camera matches the cellphone itself.

Have you ever tried to change another cellphone to do a comparison test before?

Hi Kevin.

I created a support ticket and they sent me a beta build of the app where the audio issue got fixed.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with Android 9.
