The android app does installed on my phone does not show live video from a NC260 camera, v2 hardware, FW 1.5.0
App ver. 3.8, android 5.1.1 - Samsung

Do you mean the tpCamera app?
Please make sure the camera is installed on the app and it is workign fine first:

When you watch the live video, is there any error message showing? Please show us a error screenshot.
Did you watch the live video outside? If so, you may need to enable remote control: on tpCamera app, go to camera settings, enable remote control.
Please visit tplinkcloud.com and see if you can watch the live video without problem.
