Released On: a week agoLast update time: a week ago

The Patrol Mode feature allows the Tapo camera to move between your marked positions, and the following steps will guide you in setting up the Patrol mode on the Tapo cameras.

Note: Only Pan/Tilt cameras have this feature. Non-stop patrolling may affect the motor life of your Tapo camera.

Step 1.

After setting up your Tapo camera successfully, tap the camera card on the Tapo app > Home tab to enter its Live View page, and tap the icon at the top right corner to enter its Device Settings page.

Step 2.

Tap Patrol Mode > Click on Add Mark > Tap the arrows and control the camera to move up, down, left, or right to your desired position > Click on Add Mark > Change Layover Time as needed and tap Save to add a marked position.
Repeat the Step 2 to add more marks. At least two marks are needed before toggling on Patrol Mode.

Step 3.

Click on Patrol Mode Schedule > Choose a preset schedule or customize a schedule > Then the camera will move between your marked positions as scheduled.
