Sunrise scheduling changes depending on the time of year

I would like to schedule a smart plug to turn on at 6:00am and turn off at sunrise. For about half the year sunrise is before 6am; when this is the case I would like it to not turn on at all.
Is this possible to set up? At present as soon as sunrise becomes earlier than 6 the plugs do the opposite of what they were doing until then and what I want them to do. I know it's only rescheduling once a year but its difficult to determine what time is being used for sunrise/sunset so it's a bit of a pain. Any help would be appreciated.
