Hi Guys,

First smart home light bulb!

It seems that if the light switch is turned off by hand Alexa is unable to pick the bulb up once power is returned via the light switch, is this normal behavior?

Hi gc28

Now alexa poll the devices status(online/offline) on an hourly basis, so if the bulb is offline at this poll point, alexa will show bulb as offline during the next hour.
Just ask alexa to discovery the device after you turn on light switch, this will fix it
