Hi, can you help please?
My phone (an older Alcatel) offers me a firmware update every time I run the TPCamera App, I have heard that this is a pretty risky operation so I'm reluctant to do it so I keep selectin 'Later'. The camera DOES then work (but not always!).
Am I being too cautious in your opinion, should I just go ahead and allow it, or what?
Cheers!

You can download the new firmware from official website: http://www.tp-link.com/en/download/NC220.html#Firmware(You should unzip it first, then find there's a ".bin" file.)
Then go to your camera's web manegemet to upgrade it(Advanced>System>Management).
Here's a UG for your reference: http://static.tp-link.com/1910012149_NC250,NC230,NC220(UN)_V1_UG.pdf
