Model: Tapo C210
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.5 Build 250228 Rel. 54710n

Before the last firmware update around 2-3 weeks ago, as soon as I appeared in the camera's field of view, a notification would go off on my mobile phone. It was almost simultaneous.

After the firmware update this stopped happening. The notification takes several seconds (30 seconds?). Long enough for any intruder to see the camera and switch it off.

The red LED also flashes from time to time, indicating no Wi-Fi, even if the router is on Wi-Fi or there are other devices using Wi-Fi.

I've reset the camera's reset button and it hasn't solved the problem. The router has already been replaced with a new, more advanced one. It hasn't solved the problem.

The sensitivity to people and movement is at maximum.

I use an SD card.

Wi-Fi: -39(RSSI)

Any help?

  @JoseAM

Hi,
You can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot if your camera keeps going offline or has delayed notifications.
What should I do if my Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going Offline?
What to do if I can't receive notifications with the Tapo Cam or have a delayed notification

Please confirm the following information if the problem remains.
  1. List the troubleshooting you did and the results.
  2. The model number of your Wi-Fi router. Is the camera connected to the router's Wi-Fi directly rather than an AP/RE?
  3. How often does the issue happen? How do you recover the camera's connection?
  4. Send us a date, time, and time zone when the motion is detected and when a notification is received.
  5. What's the MAC address of your camera? You can send it to me(@Solla-topee) via a private message.

Best Regards
