The camera went online and cannot be connected. The application does not show notifications and after entering it, no new recordings can be seen. I cannot approach the camera, but a friend informed me that the diode is green. The application indicates the correct name of the WiFi network, as well as good signal strength. The router to which the camera is connected also works.

 

Any ideas?

Please confirm the following information about the reported issue.

1. On your Tapo app, is the Tapo C310 displayed online or offline state?

 

2. If the camera shows online on the Tapo app, can you watch its live feed? If so, please go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page and send me a picture of this page. Then go to the Notifications page and send me a picture of this page.

 

3. Have you subscribed to the Tapo Care service? Or have you inserted an SD card into your camera to store video recordings?

1. The camera is sometimes online or offline. You don't really know, because even if it is online, you can't do anything.

 

2. Even if the camera is online, you can't watch the live stream or it only shows one frame and nothing else.

 

Yesterday the last recording is from 15:31, there is one recording (2 seconds) from 3:54 today. From 8:13 it seems to have started working, although there is still a problem with the live stream (it freezes after 2 seconds).

 

3. I have an SD card and a Tapo Care Premium subscription.

Hi, 
If the camera starts working, please keep monitoring it for some time, and then send us the problem phenomenon if the camera has problems.
Btw, please uninstall the Tapo app and reinstall the latest one, then check if you can watch the camera's live feed properly.

Still the same.

 

When trying to view live, the camera shows 1-2 seconds and freezes. After a few moments, it shows another 1-2 seconds and freezes again.

 

It detects movement or a person at certain intervals, at certain times it seems as if it did not work at all. In addition, the recordings on the SD card are different from those in the cloud.

 

The network and router have been checked and that is not the problem.

 

I sent screenshots in a private message - maybe it will help with diagnostics.

Hi,
1. On the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Advanced Settings > Display Settings page, please select Compatible Mode and check if it helps.

 

2. On the Device Settings >Video & Display > Video Quality page, please select a lower video quality and check if it helps.

 

3. Do you have a freeze issue when watching the camera's cloud video clips and SD card video clips? 

 

4. How do you test that the camera's detection feature does not work sometimes? When the camera can't detect events, please go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page to check if the settings are correct, in case the issue is caused by the changes in the detection settings.

 

5. If the problem remains, could you please send me the videos showing the reported issue? You can upload the videos to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), generate links to download them and send me(@Solla-topee) the links via a private message.
