C120 pet detection not working right after FW update 1.3.1
Sunday
Model: Tapo C120
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

Over the last week or so all my C120s have updated to FW 1.3.1.  I've noticed that after this update pet detection is no longer working normally.  When coyotes walk by at night they are being tagged as generic motion but before the FW update they were identified accurately as pets about 95% of the time.   After the update not a single coyote has been tagged correctly at night.  During the day it works mostly OK but not at night, and this is with several floodlights providing plenty of lights to the area, so it's not like the cameras are pointing to dark areas, the areas are very well lit.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

And what's with all the spam here?    Are the moderators on vacation?

Hi,
Usually, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if the camera's detection feature does not work well.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?

Please provide the following information if you need further assistance.
  1. Please go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send us a picture of the Detection page and check the sensitivity value of the enabled detection types.
  2. Could you please send us a video showing the reported issue? You can upload the video to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), generate a link to download it and send me(@Solla-topee) the link via a private message.

Best Regards
