Hi, I've 2 Tapo C210 that I was using for years. But since 3-4days ago, the talk/call function on both the cameras do not work anymore. When I tap on talk, it will pop up at the top of my screen "unable to connect. Please try again later".
Both cameras are up and connected, I'm able to playback (I have a SD card for both), pan, and also received notifications. Only the talk/call function do not work
All speakers & microphones are turned up & on.
Not running any VPN and have toggle on and off for wifi as well but nothing seems to work.
I saw a few similar reports here but has anyone gotten any luck resolving this?

Hi All,
The problem has been solved by our team, please test if the Call or Talk feature is working on the Tapo app now.
If not, reboot the camera, force close the Tapo app, and re-open it for a try.

@LT_Meong, I am also facing the same issue. I also use an SD card, and all other functionalities are working. I even re-activated tapo care but the problem persists. I was wondering if the issue was only with my device but if others are facing it as well it could be Tapo server issue. Hope this gets fixed soon

Me too. I can call for 1 second. Then I get the message "Unable to connect. Please try again later."
Also the "two-way talk functions" have not worked for a few months now, and this on all my Tapo devices.

@Jules_Roozenwat Hi I have exactly the same problem. It only does this whilst using my mobile data. If I'm doing it through my broadband connection I can talk through the cameras. Must be a server issue.

I've tried to turned off my phone wifi and it doesn't work on my mobile data, turned off my mobile data and connect to wifi only and it's the same 🥲 hope it gets fix soon!

@LT_Meong same problem for me with C200. Nothing is working anymore since friday. No talking possibility at all with the cameras. (Unable to connect).

Facing same issue for all 3 camera. C210 and C310. Tapo need to check the software issue..
