Camera is continuously resetting TC85
The camera just today started resetting itself. I reinstalled it several times and checked the software for updates and there were none. It stays connected as long as I am actively looking at it. It resets itself within a couple of minutes and I would have to reinstall it again. The battery is fully charged. I turned the power off and on and have removed the memory card several times troubleshooting.

Can you share more details of the phenomena on the camera? What makes you think it is resetting itself?

@wvtech82 The camera will operate correctly up until I stop actively viewing it. Within a couple of minutes it will announce that the camera has reset. The camera will then disappear from my list of available cameras.
I reinstalled the camera and did update the camera with the latest software and it did install as I continuously watched it. It rebooted after the update but then again announced that it had "reset" and wasn't available again. The light on the front of the camera will be flashing between red and green.

Check the camera's charging port for any signs of water leakage, such as water stains or residue. If water enters the device, it may cause hardware malfunctions and lead to unexpected behavior.

@Wayne-TP The camera was installed above my front door which is under a covered porch. I did not have a solar or any other type of power supply connected to the camera. The rubber port covers were fully closed.

How long have you been using this camera? Can you provide a video to us for reference? You may upload it to your personal cloud drive or video websites like YouTube, then send the video link here. Ideally, it will be great if you can capture the recurring issue where the camera resets itself — with footage of the reset occurring again after a few minutes.

@Wayne-TP The camera was in use I'm guessing about 2 years.
I do not have a cloud or YouTube channel to upload a video to. I could send a video to an email address showing what I have described.
To clarify the issue, the camera will reset itself 1 time after I reinstall it.
The camera announces "Reset Successful" and it disappears from my list of available cameras.
The camera after being reset is not usable until I go through the install process again.
After it is reinstalled it will reset itself within a couple of minutes. Again leaving it unusable.
The camera will then flash the red and green led to begin the install process.

Oh i see, not continuously resetting, thank you for the clarification. For this case, I would recommend reaching the local TP-Link support for assistance. Further analysis might be required, or a replacement is needed.
