Tapo apk on Waydroid

Hi,
when using Waydroid Android emulator at home the TP-link Tapo app does not recoginise that it is in my network. I keep getting the "live video for 5 minutes without any operation" dialogue. Then I have to press continue. I have not been able to find out where I can switch this off in the App ? Obviously this can be switched off right ?
Regards, Paul.

Through the information I found, the emulator isn't actually in the same network as the camera.
'Each instance of the emulator runs behind a virtual router or firewall service that isolates it from your development machine network interfaces and settings and from the internet. An emulated device can't detect your development machine or other emulator instances on the network.'
This is a time limit when viewing Tapo camera remotely, with no limits when in the local network. Why can't I view the live stream of the Tapo camera continuously?
If you want to watch the camera through a computer, consider doing this through the RTSP/ONVIF softwares. How to view Tapo camera on PC/NAS/NVR through RTSP/Onvif Protocol

I have been searching through the other messages here - wow, what a mess the tapo software is. All you have to do is add a view only locally on this device and perhaps enter a local IP address. Why is this hard ?
So, I have bought a security camera that doesn't act as a camera for more than 5 minutes - you couldn't make this up.
A bit more testing and the App works fine from my phone (> 5mins). So, it's the way the App detects the network. So, a simple mechanism in the App for local network only and an IP addess.
I will need a response for this feature or I will have to send this camera back as it's not functioning as a camera !!
