TAPO C200 keeps crashing when Scrypted NVR is connected after latest update v1.4.1
Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with my camera since updating to firmware version 1.4.1. After several hours of operation, the camera suddenly restarts. I’ve narrowed it down to Scrypted NVR, as the issue disappears when I turn it off.
I’ve already tried factory resetting the camera, but the problem persists. I managed to capture the debug logs, and it shows a crash:

Has anyone else encountered this? Any suggestions on how to resolve it? This is really frustrating since it is happening multiple times a day.

Please confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. How do you juge the camera is rebooting itself? How about the LED status on the camera when the issue happens?
2. Please describe your network diagram. Are the Tapo C200 and the Scrypted NVR connected to your router's Wi-Fi directly rather than other AP/RE?
3. What's the model number of your router?
4. Do you have the auto reboot issue when streaming the camera with the iSpy or VLC app?

Hi,
1. I can hear a clicking noise from the camera and after that it starts the calibration process. Sometimes it restores the previous preset position but not always. The NVR loses connection to the camera for a minute or two.
2. The network is really simple: the NVR and the camera are on a separate VLAN dedicated to IoT devices with full internet access. The NVR is hosted on my server connected via LAN and the Tapo C200 is connected via WiFi to the AP on the dedicated Wifi network.
3. The router is an EdgeRouter X but the Wifi AP is an Unifi U6 Lite.
4. I don't have any streaming issues. The camera is fully functional but it restarts multiple times during the day.
As I said before, the issue has been introduced with the latest firmware upgrade. This issue wasn't present before.

Im experiencing the exact same issue. Firmware 1.4.1 update on the C200 started the issue - i attempted using the "auto settings" for ONVIF integration, this didnt help. Problem is persistent but periodic and sometimes happens once an hour or not for 8 hours in a row. Seems to happen when cameras are in privacy mode as well as with motion. I have HomeKit HSV monitoring the cameras 24/7

I’ve tried many different settings on Scrypted, but it keeps crashing. I hope they fix this issue otherwise I’ll have to buy a different camera.
