Tapo C200 camera volume incredibly faint
I just received brand new TP-Link Tapo C200 security camera to install at my mum's place inside as she is elderly, frail with medical issues and needs close support and monitoring. I bought this due to advertised two-way audio and good camera with pan-tilt and alert features. I am extremely disappointed as the camera volume when I speak into it is EXTREMELY faint. I can hardly hear with my ear right near it. There are NO obstructions, the firmware is up to date after I even did a full reset, I have adjusted the microphone and speaker volumes to 100%. My phone microphone and volume are fine and maximum. The issue is the C200. This is totally unsuitable. My mother would not be able to communicate with me with this camera. The whole purpose is because she cannot use phones now due to her disabilities. This is a serious safety issue and I am very disappointed that a new product would be released like this. The advertised two-way speaker indicates easy communication via audio. TP-Link is supposed to be a leading security camera brand. Then why this? I have tried everything.
