Hi all,

 

I have a Tapo C210 camera and a Google Pixel 7 phone updated to the latest Android version 15. The Tapo app has all the necessary permissions regarding location. I have geofencing enabled in the app and the Precice Location enabled with accuracy set to High.

The Tapo notification icon is always present on the top of the screen and the Android battery optimization is disabled for the Tapo app.

When I create the two automations for arrive/leave home, those two work correctly for a couple of days at most, then they just stop working. If I delete those two automations and the recreate them, they usually start working again for one/two days.

Any ideas?

General Questions about Tapo Geofencing
 

Please confirm the following information if the problem remains.
  1. Send me the pictures of the Smart Action > Geofencing automation entries.
  2. When the Geofencing entries do not work, on the Tapo app > Smart > History page, please find the history of the Geofencing entries and send us a picture showing the failed message.
  3. Please send me(@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message.
